This seems to be a grey area.
When doing a repair is it fair to bring something that you have seen (like a broken item or unreasonably grungy bathroom(that could cause damage) to the tenants attention to remedy?)
It seems rather ludicrous to have to make a separate inspection to bring this matter up.
Has anyone gotten clarification on this situation?
Ive gotten 2 different stories from Tenancy advisers--first said yes -you are allowed to protect your asset.
2nd said its a grey area and you should take the second roundabout option of scheduling an inspection.
