You have so much to learn. It's a 14 day letter. Email? Depends upon your address for service. Be safe. Make it a 14 day letter plus 2 working days for delivery and leave it in the letterbox.

A word to the wise - if you have a TT hearing scheduled under these sort of circumstances, give legal notice of a property inspection to be held on the morning of the hearing (or, at worst, the afternoon before). Give proper notice, so that you can legally force entry if you need to.
Do the inspection, ideally with a companion as a witness, and take photographs of everything.
That way, if the tenants turn ferral after the hearing and set out to deliberatly damage your property, you can prove it.
