Today I received an invoice from an old landlord.
It had an unsubstantiated claim of "unpaid rent" and was trying to scam my business for fixing wrongly installed fire alarm sensors.
I have the lease agreement and it is crystal clear. "and the maintenance charges in respect of all fire detection and fire fighting equipment" is crossed out.
The rent was paid until the end of December 2014 and move out was a few days earlier.
It's an out and out scam.
I have written back firmly denying these claims.
Any other pointers please?
