Yes but you can't let the kids go outside and play while you do your housework etc and watch em out the window in your nicely fenced back yard. We have loads of bike/horse/people trails with Tauranga and every other town in NZ, as well but younger kids require supervision of some degree so hours playing outside everyday isn't achievable until they are what age.... Then what do they do all day?
Agree that covering nature isn't sustainable and it certainly increases flooding when you have less dirt to soak up deluges. Think people breeding need to do so responsibly and I don't agree with 8+ kids regardless of your belief in contraception or not.
Its a hard one but Id never agree with raising kids in an apartment (nor owning a dog in one either). But I guess it depends what you grew up with.
