We are looking at two properties in Taumarunui.
One already has a long term tenant that has been there 3.5 years and wants to stay on.
The other property is is in a nicer part of the inner town will be vacant upon possession and we would have to find a tenant.
As we are geared rather high financially its really important to get tenants asap. What is the key to attracting good tenants?
Having been a tenant myself foir many years, to me, both properties would be great to live but thats just my opinion. We are buying a property to retire into in 8 years and wanted it tenanted in the mean time.
Is having a lower rent than others the key or does other factors come in?
Thanking you in advance
