The NZ Navy intercepted an open boat of elderly people off the coast of Cape Reinga today.
The Navy was placed in an awkward position, as the boat was not heading to New Zealand,
but towards Asia.
Another surprise discovery was the boat people were NZ pensioners. They claimed that they
were trying to get to Asia because they then wanted to try and return to NZ as illegal immigrants.
By doing that, they alleged that they would be entitled to far more benefits than they were
receiving as long-time taxpayers and legitimate New Zealand National Superannuitants.
It is believed the Navy gave them food, water and a compass and pointed them in the general
direction of Asia.
Bookings are available for the next boat out. Let me know if you want to join them.
