Hang on a second, isn't the narrative that Collins greased the wheels for the OIA request? Why would Slater be saying 'hopefully' in a conversation with the person who (supposedly) pushed it through post-haste, he would have known it was in the bag wouldn't he?

I'm voting for the Conservatives at this point too.
I agree with what the guy said re smacking. Not that there's a cast iron link between no smacking and suicide per se, but that young me especially need a good clip around the ear, or the cane occasionally.
I was a smart arse as a teenager and got the cane 3 times.
The blinkin females have totally taken over education to the point that this no longer happens. And now you can't even physically discipline your own kids in your own home.
And still the ABUSE which is very different, goes on.Squadly dinky do!

Feeley hopes for criminal investigation
Former Serious Fraud Office boss Adam Feeley says he hopes the police are considering a criminal investigation into claims Judith Collins was linked to a smear campaign against him.
Mr Feeley said he believed both the police and SFO would be considering whether they had grounds to launch an inquiry.
"It's almost certain that several offences could have been committed if people were undermining a police or an SFO investigation, absolutely," he told RadioLive this morning.
"I would be surprised if both SFO and police weren't thinking about that today."
He went on to say he "would hope" both organisations were considering an inquiry and that he would "like to know what the truth is".

Can you show where you answered that please.

For me, it's too Napoleon and Snowball-like for comfort.

I believe the Inspector-General is the appropriate person to conduct this inquiry.
a blogger if you believe there was no threat to NZ's national security, especially
given the totalitarian-like nature implicit in . . . .?
. . . to a closed-door inquiry to give evidence under oath about declassified
information allegedly supplied to Slater . . .
Especially when it's accepted it's not a national security threat.

If they think there's a case to answer, it goes to
the Crown Solicitor to prosecute.
My Turn
Are you going to answer the question about why
you believe that it's a matter for the Inspector-
General of Intelligence and Security, despite it also
being your belief that the matter in not one of
national security?Last edited by Perry; 01-09-2014, 06:03 PM.

However, as I am above such stuff....
.....because that was who the complaint was made to.
There are concerns about the process.
The Inspector-General has intimate knowledge about the process, she is best placed to conduct inquires.

If it's not national security and not criminal, what
do you believe it is, then, that merits the attention
of the Inspector-General of Intelligence and Security?
Protection of National Party security?
Please read all the post. A Police inquiry proceeds to
the Crown Solicitor, and, if merited, to Court, once
charges are laid. Open Court, I would hope.

Herrings, of the Red Kind
to inquire, of the Inspector-General's own motion or at the request of the Minister,
into any matter that relates to the compliance by an intelligence and security
agency with the law of New Zealand.
