The Green Party has become rather fringe in some of their policies and I wouldn't touch Internet/Mana with a 10 foot barge pole (Don't trust Kim Dotcom one bit)

This may well be the first election I don't vote either.

There are some who hope you are not alone in this sentiment.

Ignorance - Is that having people think you're a gorgeous female when in actual fact you are a grumpy old leftie male?

Still.... on tonight's One / Colmar poll they would have 5 MPs if Harawira retains his seat.

            This is an interesting site.
It gives you an idea where you fit into political spectrum in relation to parties policyies.

That is a very interesting site. I didn't come out quite where I expected - maybe I am just confused.

I can now see why you are considering not voting.

I have never voted Labour and I wouldn't vote Mana if hell freezes over. That only leaves the Greens, who in general I support but a few issues mean I am unlikely to vote for them this election.

                    • I can understand why you feel disenfranchised then.
It must be frustrating not to have a political force you feel comfortable enough with to vote for.
That's why many people will stay away from the polling booths next month I guess.

                      • The 3 minutes, between 6 and 9 minutes in this interview with Key over the dirty politics accusations are interesting.
                        (if you're a political junkie )

                        • Thanks that was as boring as bats&%t. Love the way the tall poppy syndrome is at work here, why is the focus not on Crim da Con and the muck raking he has orchestrated?

                            • Green is out for me, now. Too much tax. Labour does not attract my vote either. I didn't consider Internet/Mana because of Kim Dot Com. I was never a National voter. Now with the dirty politics Nicky Hagger book, National is absolutely out for me. I don't know which one to vote this time. If Labour candidate is Nick Legget (Poriru mayor), I'll vote for them because of Nick Legget. I think I'll have to wait for some time to be able to vote for Labour or wherever Nick Legget goes on the condition that he holds good reputation by that time.

How much will the Greens tax policies increase your tax bill per year ?
