I'm visiting SI in a couple of weeks and thinking about another IP. We've already got some properties around Timaru and happy with those but thinking about Dunedin for diversification if nothing else. Looking to spend $200k and get 8% plus yield. Both towns look safe enough options, anyone have any thoughts? I guess Im gonna be banned from buying any more IPs before long by hubby so would like to make this a good purchase.

there is a few pages of properties for sale in the local paper as well as the property press so i doubt there is nothing suitable, we dont have "bad" suburbs as such, some less desirable areas mostly state house areas but there are lots of private owners now but even in those areas you will find good houses at reasonable pricesLast edited by jimO; 02-08-2014, 08:02 PM.
