First time home buyer..

Hi all.. i hope i'm in the right place and you could help.

I went to look at a few houses around Parkhaven Dr, Papakura, and I really like the look of the area. I'm wondering if there are similar areas around Auckland in the same price range 700k-800k..

Any suggestions are appreciated.

AMR, thank you for your reply. I'm currently living in Wellington so it's not very easy for me to go look around houses.. In February, I had a chance to go see houses in the following areas.

Karaka - very nice, but a bit over budget
Parkhaven Dr - also very nice, and affordable
Redhill(upper) - some affordable but not too interested
Gulf harbour - very nice but too far away

We would like to find a home within 30mins drive from Manakau.

Budget: $600K-780K
School zone: not too important but plus
Style of the area: like Parkhaven

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Wattle Downs. Waterfront, new housing, good primary/intermediate, and within your budget. Closer to town than Parkhaven.

If you don't mind older areas then Manukau Heights or Hill Park / the Gardens could work too.
