Hi everyone
when we have a tenant, and they want to get a flatmate in, that is fine with us, and we tend to do a search on them, and get them to fill in application form etc and put them on the tenancy agreement.
do you guys tend to also add them to the bond form? or just leave the bond form as it is, seeing as the signatory on the form is still living in the place? and the original person is the one who has paid the money in? if you add names, do you theoretically have to get the original person to sign a new bond form to allow a name addition?
sometimes i wonder if it is easier to leave as is? sometimes it is just easier to deal with one signature when it comes time to do the paperwork at the end.
any thoughts?
