He does the job as PM yet takes no salary. Great stuff but is he really doing the job out of the "Goodness of his heart" or are others pulling the strings in backroom deals. I really wonder.

By the way as for conspiracy theories its better to keep an open mind about it & thats all Colin Craig was doing so the media beat him up over it.
Nearly half of Americans believe 911 was an inside job. Looking at some of the various data around i'd say there is definite evidence to suggest there's more to 911 than what we're "officially" told. These are not just flakey theories by sandal wearing camel riders in the desert. There is an imminent group of over 120 engineers & scientists based in San Francisco that have studied 911 and refute the official government bs version. In regard to the moon landings ,i believe man did land on the moon but there are numerous unanswered questions.Last edited by mrsaneperson; 06-02-2014, 12:49 AM.

The link to the original radio interview is provided in this article.
The moon landing issue is first raised about 3:30 in.
Asked by RadioLive presenter Marcus Lush this morning if he believes man walked on the moon, he says: “I don’t have a belief or a non-belief in these things. I just don’t know.”
Asked again if he thinks man walked on the moon, he says: “I have no idea, mate. That’s what we’re told. I’m sort of inclined to believe it. But at the end of the day I haven’t looked into it.
There are very serious people that question these things. I don’t have to have an opinion on these things, I don’t have time to look into it.”
Asked a third time, Mr Craig says he’s not going to judge something like the moon landings without the facts.

The media have had their field day with Colin Craig trying to spurn people away from voting from him but hopefully people can see propaganda for what it is. Craig doesnt speak the same PC mantra that most politicians have leaned towards & thats why i applaud him as he has the guts & individuality to speak out against mass banal mediocrity .So who are you voting for Speights?
And yes, I'll definitely be voting for Colin and The Conservative Party.Last edited by friendly_prawn; 07-02-2014, 05:02 PM.

Given our mate Colin's tendency to sue at the drop of a hat, I would like to change that sentence to "So you're happy for a conspiracy theory-accepting person with certain views proven to be against the mainstream belief of the vast majority of science to have some power over Govt?"

Still, I guess a belief in some kind of deity doesn't do the US pollies any harm. In fact, over there it's mandatory if you want to be elected. Here, not so much, but there'll always be a support base of sky-fairy-believers. I read since that Colin has said he's not actually that religious after all, and rarely attends church, so I wonder how the thumpers took that, after being all excited.

"What's the deal with all these 'conspiracy theories' that have been touted about in the media of late? The media are having a field day! It must be a low news week for them or something!
Maria
Here's a response released by Colin Craig today;
Mischievous Media should not lose sight of Main Issues:
Colin Craig says he “hopes the media who have in the past few days mischievously and inaccurately credited him with a belief in conspiracy theories will not be forgetting that this Christmas there are New Zealanders who are facing major challenges.”
“I have recently returned from Christchurch where many homes are still not repaired and it’s finding solutions to problems like that that occupies my time” he said “not keeping current on the latest conspiracy theories. I realise people can get very serious about these theories but I haven’t had the time to look into them.”
“I believe I have now been asked about at least a dozen different conspiracy theories and my answer remains the same. I simply don’t know enough about theories to give comment and suggest the questions be asked of those who are better informed on them. Refusing to pass comment on these matters is not the same as believing the theories are true. “
Mr Craig said he is “taking the mischief making by media in good humour”, although he was a bit surprised when a friend contacted him yesterday concerned that Mr Craig may be in doubt about the moon landings. “I admit that surprised me” says Mr Craig
“Certainly the media are making a good story out of this and using a fair bit of licence. I have always thought man did go to the moon and said so to media interviewers but not all media chose to portray my views that way”. Mr Craig joked that he has “rejected the conspiracy theory that suggests the media are alien beings despite their unpredictable behaviour.”
In response to the Prime Ministers suggestion that Mr Craig is winding the media up deliberately Mr Craig admitted his “casual responses have been provocative”. “I shall be less casual with my responses in the future” says Mr Craig "

I still think the whole thing was a media beatup the way it was reported .
And when asked on 911 in the same interview whether it was a conspiracy, again he said he was unsure. This means he's part of the 50% of Americans who think 911 was an inside job.
