    a mate just bought a recent doo up and when he took possession he was flabergasted (great word that) to find the previous owners had painted around the pictures on the walls, oh how we larfed

    Some of the early EQC repairs were being done like that. When people complained about the standard of work, they got told they were expecting too much...EQC wasn't there to "improve" their homes.
