Auckland Super City - How Have Forumites Fared?

I know there have been comments about the changes, here-and-there, on
the Forums. Has the dust settled? If so, what have PT Forumites seen and
experienced? Of particular interest to me is those (doubtless) much publicised
savings & efficiencies. Did any of them happen? If so, did services improve
and/or increase? What were the levels of staff reductions, over the entire
Auckland Councils' area? Perhaps Rates went down (or didn't go up) to abso-
lutely positively demonstrate the savings to ratepayers?

Yeah, right?
