Default Tenants owe rent. Will they be stopped from going overseas?

I have got tenants about to break the agreement and leave. In their ideal world they told me they will leave but leave bond for me. I don't know where they will stay but I know their car plate number and school. Just wonder if TT submitte or court order so on, would they be stopped if they leave the country? Cheers

Unforunately it no the responsibilty of Govt Agences to stop civil debt defaulters at the border. Now if it was Govt debt that's a totally different story. Just hope that their bond woill be enough to cover everything. Best of luck

Fuzz has it (painfully) correct, AFAIK. Government
revenue (e.g. fines, tax default) for MP's spouses
subsidised air travel, ex-PM perks and tax-free super
for ex-MPs is one thing. One taxpayer ripping off
another is quite another. Usually needs some sort of
Court Order to stop overseas departures in situations
    like yours.

    Let them go.
    Keep the bond.
    Get new tenants.
    Add $20 to new rent.
    ...moving on ....
