I have recently bought and renovated a rental property. And was wondering what was the best way to attract reasonable tennents, or any tenants for that matter. It is advertised with an estate agents at the moment and they will also property manage it as it is out of my reach. But not to many people have inquired. Is there something else I should be doing? Or some advice would be good. Thanks for your help if you reply.
How did the story end Matthew?
Did the property rent quickly after you posted. Did you reduce the rent, add to the property description, use different photos?
You can have the best looking people in the best suits move in & then be shafted. HAPPENS EVERYDAY.I had a young couple a few years ago move into a property , good looking ,early 20s ,very well dressed, said all the right things.Turned out they were "scamsters" involved in credit card fraud.
Never judge a book by its cover. Though we all do too some degree; its easy to be "blinded by the light"..
