I expect the new blogging laws before parliment and his role as a journalist have meant that Peter Aranyi has had to edit alot of the previous posts that may have been defamatory or had misleading information, this is just a guess on my part though.

(1) No new blogging laws are before Parliament; (2) there aren’t any/weren't any posts containing ‘defamatory’ or ‘misleading information’ on The Paepae — neither before nor after the brief interruption.
And, as I indicated here:
Originally posted by PeterEmpowerEd View PostThe {Paepae's} interruption has nothing at all to do with legal action (or threats of threats) over comments about property spruikers, internet 'guru's or con artists.
So, in other words, it's not connected to issues and 'personalities' I've discussed here at PropertyTalk, including Dean Letfus, his hyperbolic sales operations and his recent [supposed] financial unravelling. The timing is just a coincidence.
Cheers, Peter

So the law commission report does not go before parliment despite it being a govt publication ? I must confess I assumed it would being a govt publication.
Interesting or are you just playing mischeif here Peter denying its existence ?
Strange you are being so evasive and deliberatly or ignorantly (?) ignoring such a relevent report regarding bloggers in New Zealand ? :-)

It seems none - its a review which will lead to recommendations which will lead to probably nothing.
(Although if they recommended making the poster, rather than the hoster, responsible for their posts, I'd be all for it!)DFTBA
