Yeah - I saw him on TV tonight in their latest attempt at attack politics and was amazed that he actually put together a whole lot of sentences together in a relatively coherent manner with no UMs and AAHs - how is that possible?

You are correct Wayne - 1 nil ,but I was never bidding to be the Leader of the Labour party or PM.
If as you say (and you are probably right) and he can cope better under no pressure then he never as going to be a good leader. We expect leaders to be able to cope under pressure.

Yes we do.
He may be a good leader (and from what I have read he has done well in other situations) but not a good leader of a political party.
Maybe he will be good as part of the support team?

I think Shearer has a lot of good ideas and is good in as a leader but one who doesn't have to be in the limelight

Really it's obvious the men are just not good enough - better to give the leadership job back to a female....and there's a good one in the party too....plus she's a lot more photogenic than any of her male colleagues.

last week former labour minister Dover Samuels said he wouldn't vote labour in september

this week another labour stalwart, Chris Trotter, says

The votes Labour needs to win are still out there.

He says that leftwing voters are disinclined to be bothered with 'a tortured, internally fractious, ill-disciplined organisation peopled by individuals who clearly loathe one another, and who seemed determined to not only lose the Election of 20 September 2014 - but all subsequent elections'.

Some do seem determined to lose at all cost.
