How to embed youtube videos??

How do you embed youtube videos??

I did the following
- go to youtube video you want to copy
- click on embed button
- copy the link in the "embed" box
- post into the body of the "Property Talk" thread you are writing

BUT when I submit the post on PT the youtube link just shows up as text. No embedded video.

What am I doing wrong??

Hi Shane, just place the Youtube ID between the following tags.

e.g.
[ youtube ]jf_mHlJfPv8[ /youtube ]


(Remove the spaces and you'll see the following video. BTW, this is an excellent interview where Jim talks about his investing wisdom. Highly recommended.)

Thats wierd how you cannot use the embedded code straight off Youtube!

Its because the forum uses bbcode not html code
