Hallo, I'm new to the site, 27 year old male from Belfast. Thought I'd put my idea up and ask if anyone knows if I can get the help anywhere?
I'm starting a small web-based business and would like an office unit but rather than rent for around £400 monthly, I came across 2 apartments in Belfast (N.Ireland) both two bedroomed and in excellent state of repair, that the owner is keen to sell quickly. They want £65,000 for each but the estate agent thinks they'd likely reduce it if someone wanted to purchase both, possibly to £100,000 for both.
There are sitting tennants in them at present paying £500 monthly for each. I would ideally buy both, keep tennants in one and use the other as a daytime office and nightime living quarters, but have made several late payments on credit cards, a loan etc in the last year (as have many people in the current climate) and I know there is no point at present seeking a conventional mortgage.
I'm wondering if 100% buy-to-let still exists anywhere in UK/Ire, or if someone could point me in the direction of someone who would be able/interested in helping invest or lend to this, open to ideas.
