  • NBR Website

More and more stuff is being posted on the NBR website that is subscriber only.

Too bad I'll soon have to remove their website from my Favourites.

Is all their subscriber only content also published in their mag or is some online only?

Don't know as I don't get the magazine either.

They are probably niche enough to get away with a subscriber based model. Others less so as their content can be found elsewhere. I'd be surprised if the NBR site become subscriber only as they earn $$ from advertising so that would be counter-productive. I guess they may follow the Financial Times model - where there are levels and some content is free.

        cheers,

The NZ Herald looked like they were moving toward online subscriptions for a while when they started limiting access to articles after a couple of weeks. However, this has stopped and the advertising has increased, so maybe they changed their minds.
