My main concern would be to find a good builder that won't go bust. Steel frame residential builders in the Wellington region are represented in the belly-up stats, so it would pay not to take anything for granted, whatever framing you pick, and carefully check out the directors' track records.
I notice no-one has mentioned any condensation concerns, or the possibilities of reactions with insulation materials. Are these possible issues?
Having said that, residential steel framing seems very accurate & quick, even if it's not as solid as what I expected.
