Scenario -
Tenants have given notice (all Notice times etc are correct).
LL has said they've left oil on the driveway and that tenants have to pay for cleaning, resurfacing re-sealing of same....

You can only claim interest for the period the property is available for rent. So if you only keep it for six months then you can only pay six months rent, etc.
